Project Presentation through Poster

Objective: To offer students a venue to showcase their project work via posters, showcasing technical proficiency, creativity, and useful results in an understandable visual style.

 

Vision: To develop a culture of research, creativity, and proficient technical presenting abilities in students by means of organized project evaluation based on posters.

 

Mission: To facilitate efficient project communication and professional assessment by assisting students in creating high-quality posters and presenting their work with precision, professionalism, and clarity.

Rules and Regulations

  • Eligibility:
    • VSITR BE final-year students
  • Team Size:
    • Maximum 4 students and minimum 2 students. (There can be one extra faculty member in the team above the maximum limit of the students.)
  • Poster Guidelines:
    • Size requirements: 3 feet (horizontal) x 4 feet (vertical)
    • Layout: Rectangular 
    • Font Family: Times New Roman
    • Main Heading font size: 80 (All capitals + bold) (for ex., CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION)
    • Subheading Font Size: 72 (All capitals + bold) (for ex., 1.1 PURPOSE)
    • Subheading font size: 60 (First letter capitalized and bold) (for ex. 1.1.1  Project Title)
    • Content Font Size: 60
    • Header: Left: Group No. (ex. GROUP 1) Right: Domain Name (ex. Library Management System)
    • Footer:  Left: VSITR-KSV Right: Page number (ex. Page 1)
  • Poster Submission Deadline:
    • Feb 21, 2026
    • The poster can only be submitted after due approval from the concerned internal guide.
    • Late submissions of posters will not be accepted.
  • Evaluation Mechanism:
    • A committee of external experts shall evaluate the poster on the day of competition and give marks out of 100 to each poster with various criteria such as (a) Innovation/idea of the theme presented in the poster, (b) Clarity of presentation, (c) Potential for future implementation, (d) Technology used in the poster, etc.

Table/Materials/Equipment:

  • Participants are required to bring their own equipment, like a fully charged laptop, USB, extension board, Wi-Fi internet connection, etc., as applicable.
  • Tables for the presentation shall be provided by the institute.
  • Event Schedule:
    • A detailed schedule for the event shall be provided in a trailing email; however, the reporting time shall be 9:30 am sharp.
  • Attendance Requirements:
    • All the participants are required to attend the entire event.
